Control: T-Systems International GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG, a German stock-corporation headquartered in Bonn (the German federal government, via KfW, holds a large minority stake; there is no foreign controlling shareholder). Deutsche Telekom owns T-Mobile US as a subsidiary; the reverse is not true.
Note: Marketed as "hosted entirely in Europe and free from US legal influence." A separate Swiss region (Bern/Zollikofen) exists for CH-resident data but is not counted in dataResidencyCountries here since CH is outside EU/EEA. Also holds the EU Cloud Code of Conduct (Art. 28/40 GDPR) attestation.
