Control: French RCS registration (SIREN 952 418 325, Paris) confirms Mistral AI SAS. Founders Arthur Mensch, Guillaume Lample, and Timothée Lacroix hold a dual-class share structure reported to preserve >50% combined voting power, including after ASML's ~11% Series C equity stake (non-voting preferred, board seat only, no control rights reported). No single non-EU/EEA shareholder has been reported to hold control.

Ownership: Large non-French/EU investor base (Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst, Lightspeed, DST Global — all non-EU) holds significant economic stakes via financing rounds, but press reporting as of 2026 attributes voting control to the three EU-based founders through multiple-vote founder shares. Flagged for reviewer re-check given the scale of non-EU capital involved, even though control is reported to remain with EU founders.

Note: Default La Plateforme processing is in Paris-region EU data centers; provider help center states data can be temporarily routed to subprocessors outside the EU for certain features (see Trust Center subprocessor list), and a separate opt-in US API endpoint exists (not used by default). cloudActExposure set to "low" rather than "none" to reflect that non-EU subprocessor transfers are possible for some features, per Mistral's own help-center disclosure.
